At just 19 years old, Caeden de Bruin has already built a brand that blends art, fashion, and philosophy into something uniquely his own. What began as a way to raise money for his family’s nonprofit in Uganda has evolved into E for Enything — a creative label grounded in timeless design, self-expression, and meaning.
“Each piece I make is a reminder of something important to me — something that ties art, life, and philosophy together,” Caeden shared. “I want every design to carry meaning — not just be a piece of clothing.”
From Painting to Fashion
Caeden’s creative journey started with paintbrushes, not patterns. He spent his early years experimenting with art, then shifted into fashion through skateboarding culture. Sewing, screen printing, and patchwork became new ways to express his ideas — transforming thrifted pieces into one-of-a-kind works.
After posting a few designs online, E for Enything caught traction. Orders grew, videos went viral, and the project that started in a guest bedroom began to look like something much bigger. But with boxes, fabric, and equipment overtaking his parents’ house, Caeden knew it was time to find a professional space that could match his momentum.
Discovering Elevator
“I’d been searching for a studio for months,” Caeden said. “Then an Elevator ad popped up on Instagram. I normally don’t click those, but I was desperate for space.”
He toured the Elevator Co-Warehousing the next day with his dad and signed soon after. The industrial aesthetic, bright walls, and shipping-ready setup immediately clicked with his creative process.
“The industrial feel fits my brand. The shipping area alone saves me so much time — I used to drive to the post office every day.”
Today, Caeden’s space at Elevator is fully customized to his workflow. Cutting tables, lighting setups for video shoots, and racks of denim and leather fill the studio. It’s not just a workspace — it’s a place that reflects his brand’s evolution and ambition.
Building a Business, Not Just a Brand
Operating from Elevator Co-Warehousing has helped Caeden take E for Enything to the next level. The separation between home and work allows him to focus, create, and grow. It’s also enabled him to hire his first intern — expanding what he can produce and how he spends his time.
“I get three times as much done now,” he said. “Having a real studio and someone helping means I can focus on the art and the vision.”
Caeden’s brand continues to evolve from upcycled pieces to new cut-and-sewn jeans and leather jackets produced in Los Angeles. While most of his customers are in LA and New York, his Midwest base gives him creative clarity and independence.
“Being in Iowa gives me space to think differently. In big cities, everyone’s doing the same thing — here, I can do my own thing.”
Looking Ahead
With new collections on the way and collaborations in the works, Caeden’s goal is simple: keep creating meaningful, timeless pieces that outlast trends.
“Anything is possible,” he said. “If you love something and stick with it, you can go so far.”
