How members use a unit

Ecommerce sellers
Inventory out of the house, orders out the door every day, and a real address on the return label.

Makers and product brands
Make it, store it and ship it from one place. The step between the farmers market and a storefront.

Distributors and route businesses
Stage stock, load the van and head out. Come back to a desk and a meeting room.

Studios and creators
A unit doubles as a permanent set for product shoots, content and small workshops.
What is co-warehousing?
Co-warehousing is warehouse space that works like coworking. Your unit is yours alone: behind its own lock and key, with access for you and our team (for deliveries) and nobody else. Everything around it is shared with other members: the loading dock, the pallet jacks, the packing stations, the carrier pickups, the meeting rooms, the lounge and the people at the front desk. It sits between the garage and a traditional warehouse. Most small businesses don't need 5,000 square feet on a five-year term. They need a few hundred square feet, a real address and a way to get boxes in and out. That's what a unit at Elevator is.
Like many entrepreneurs, Shannon and Emiliano Lerda started their first business from home. Between raising two kids and fulfilling online orders, their living room turned into a chaotic mix of inventory, packing tape and stress. Everything they looked at was inflexible, unaffordable, or simply not designed for small and growing businesses. That problem sparked an idea. What if warehousing worked like coworking?
They opened the first Elevator in Omaha in 2022. Today there are five, in Omaha, Des Moines, Kansas City, Lincoln and St. Louis. Elevator is proudly minority- and woman-owned, and was built to serve entrepreneurs and the neighborhoods and cities they're growing in.

How is a unit different from self-storage?You can work in it. Units are climate controlled and set up for daily use, you get a business address, and carriers pick up from the building every business day.
How much does a small warehouse unit cost?Units start at $475 a month in Omaha, $495 in Lincoln, $546 in St. Louis, $700 in Kansas City and $763 in Des Moines.
Can a semi truck deliver?Yes, everywhere except Lincoln. Omaha, Des Moines, Kansas City and St. Louis have dock-high loading docks that fit a full 53-foot trailer.
Who signs for my deliveries? We do, weekdays from 9 to 5. We sign on your behalf and move pallets straight into your locked unit.
How long do I have to commit? Most members go month to month with 30 days' notice.

What if a delivery doesn’t fit in my unit? We’ll put it in another open unit and bill one month of that unit’s membership.

Can I share access with my team?Yes. Add teammates through a quick form at onboarding.
Is staff onsite during the day?Yes, Monday to Friday, 8 to 5.
Is there parking?Yes, at every location.
