Join Elevator Des Moines for a special Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, featuring Jennifer Thomas, Program Director of The Iowa Center Women’s Business Center. In this session, “Practical Steps to Start and Grow Your Small Business,” Jennifer will share actionable strategies for entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. As a former small business owner who launched Wanderlust Fashion LLC in 2014, Jennifer brings firsthand experience navigating the challenges of starting and scaling a business. She now leads programs that equip entrepreneurs with coaching, education, and access to capital through The Iowa Center for Economic Success.

Whether you’re launching your first venture or looking to grow an established business, you’ll walk away with practical tools, resources available across Iowa, and the confidence to take your next step. This free event includes lunch and is open to all entrepreneurs, with a special focus on supporting women business owners and rural communities.
